Post of the Day
Hey. Friday was a little bit of a let down. D&D was pretty boring, and not much happened. Although we did manage to kill off 3/4 of the main story characters at the beginning of the night. Not much else happened. Saturday was a kind of low turnout for the sealed tournament at Dragon's Table. I think part of it was due to the fact that the U of I magic club held a sealed the same week. It really seems as if they are trying to purposely take away from John's business. 7 people came to the DT sealed. I got third, and Nathan got second. Another two local players who don't show up much took 1st and 4th. It was a fun day all in all.
Yesterday there was an extremely low turn out for the type one. It was only Brian, Jimmy, my Dad, and me. The U of I seems to refuse to hold their tournaments on at a different time/day. It is kind of annoying having all of our players go over there instead. I really wish Craig would do something, but then again he is making money so why stop?
Today I am going to DT to just hang out and play some type two. I would really like some serious testing against some good decks. I think my deck has a lot of potential, and would really like to find its weak points.
I am currently making my own RPG with a program called "RPG Maker 2003". It is a somewhat simple program to use, but can do a lot of complex functions. The program gives you a good idea of what goes into making an RPG, and a game in general. A lot of stuff needs to be set up for everything to work. So currently I am making my own game to pass around to my friends, and maybe put on the internet. Hopefully by 5 tonight I will have my first Alpha of it. It wont be anything fancy, but it will have a working town, and a place to battle some creatures. I also need a good story line for it, so if anyone has any ideas, please email me at voidmage17@hotmail.com, or send me a message on AIM, my screen name is DreamcastFreak17. The tentative title for my game will be "Grapes: The Saga", but very well might change.
Not much else is going on. So until later,
Grapes17
