HHGttG

Just came back from Hitch Hikers Guid to the Galaxy, and it was amazing. My one and only disapointment (possibly even not that) is that it did not cover all of the books. As long as they do the rest of the books in later movies, I will be happy. But yeah, as far as I could tell it stayed true to the book. Marvin rocked! Ford was cool. And is it just me, or is that two headed guy the same one from Lost? Either way, kick ass movie. I recomend that if you are any sort of geek, you see that movie now, this weekend. DO IT!

Almost Done

I am almost done with this semester. After this week is finished there are only two more weeks of school, one of them being finals week. I happy, but also very worried (sorta). The next two weeks will be long and hard, and there is much that needs to be done.

I have a final english paper to write. I have research done, but I need to get it actually written. I have about a week and a half for that.

For the final to my WinXP class I have a lab practical which I think I will do pretty decently on. But for the second half of the final, it will be the WHOLE transender cd. Close to 200 questions. A good part is that I already have the questions/answers, since it is the cd we have been useing all class. The bad part is that it almost puts me to sleep everytime I ever try and practice with it. By around quest 13 I am begging for it to be done and over with. So I don't know what I will do about that final, probably score big on the practicle and then do so/so on the cd and end up with a C or something over all for the final.

Wireless I have no idea on... That class was ran very crappy. I think so far I have had maybe 8 total graded assignments. So... yeah... that will be interesting.

Network documentions final will be fun. The questions on it are hella easy, and very hard to miss. I just have to get the final big project done by the end of friday. Lets hope my team members will get off their butts and do something.

C Programming is pretty decent. It has been hard to keep up with the lectures, as they get me very close to falling asleep. It is not that the subject is boreing, it is just the way that they are given. I think the class could be a lot better if we actually coded while he lectured on the material... So yeah, I should do decently on that. Oh, and I have to finish the last project for that class as well.

So basically, it is crunch time (oh, how I hate that phrase). I don't like this time, but in two weeks (give or take a couple of days) it shall all be over. For this semester at least.

So yeah, I might post more later. I am thinking about makeing this blog more active. I am going to fidgit with the template to seem if I can get comments working... So, until later,

OMG, New post?!

So yeah, I got back from a LAN party around 7:30 sunday morning. I showered, then slept till about 10:30. I then hooked my computer back up to my room (****ing pain as it is hard to access the back with the cables).

The lan started at 8pm saturday, but I got there at 7pm because I was an admin. I will be getting there earlier next time. So yeah, I suppose that comes out to about 12 hours of partying. The systems weren't up and running till about 9, and the people weren't really playing all that much untill about 11 or 12. After that though things went smothly.

There were bevriges (sp?), and I was in charge of them. We had Balwz as any self respecting lan party would have, as well as mountain dew knock offs. I had a balwz, it was the first time I had drinkin' one, I didn't notice much of an effect. Tasted kinda like gingerale. One of my friends had I believe it was 6 bawlz in total. He was pretty messed up, bouncing off the walls and stuff.

People also had some pretty sweet rigs with nice lights and stuff, so that was cool.

Games we played include CS1.6, CS:S, Jedi Accademy, and Unreal Tournament.

Until later,
