Post of the Day

Yes, again, I have many excuses for not posting in over a week. One, not a lot has been going on. Two, I was busy over the weekend. And three, I was sick for the past two days. I still am sick right now, but I am getting better. Two days until Christmas. Hope everyone has fun on their day off. Over the weekend I made top 2 at the 1.5 tournament on Saturday, and Sunday I didn't. I played Fish on Saturday, and it is a very fun deck. I played the U/R version because I don't have the cards for other versions. It was a lot of fun. Wednesday I played D&D with some friends, and that was a lot of fun.

Let me see, what else has been going on... I have been playing a lot of Diablo II and Magic Online. On Magic Online I am trying to be a dealer of sorts, but it is hard to star with out tix. It reminds me of the old phrase, "It takes money to make money." That phrase is very true to Magic Online. I have been able to triple my tix since Thursday, but I only had 6 at the start so it is not a huge triple. I believe that the more tix I have, the easier it will be to acquire more. My current money making venture is to buy two Mirrodin packs for 7 tix, and then sell three Mirrodin packs for 11 tix. It slowly gains me more tix. Hopefully soon I can get them more quickly.

There really isn't a lot more going on. I am going to my grandma's house on Christmas, and will be going to my uncle's house the Sunday after. Well I hope you all have happy holidays. Best Wishes,

Post of the Day

Yeah, yeah, I have been very lazy with the posting. I have just not had a time where I have been bored and didn't have something better to do. So I have been playing modo(Magic Online) and Diablo II a lot. They are both really fun games. Modo I have been doing decently, haven't turned a profit yet though, but that is what sponsors are for. Modo has been really fun, and if nothing else I can test affinity to no end. Diablo II has also been great. I have a level 13 Necromancer, which I will need to restart. I have learned a lot in the last week about Diablo II, so I should be able to do it quicker the second time. I got in top 4 Sunday at the type 2. I won 7 dollars. Not amazing, but still fun. I did a different update to my other site, Team Fat now has a really cool background. Again if you want to be in my modo clan just pm me, my name is Grapes17.

Not a lot else has been going on, so until later

Post of the Day

Yeah, Yeah, I know. I haven't posted in days and days. I have good reason, maybe. Sunday night I signed up for Magic Online. Yeah, I know, I have been dissing Magic Online ever since I herd that you had to pay for it. I have good reason though. Jimmy is going to be my sponsor, meaning, he will help provide me the tickets I need to play in tournaments, he will also help me get the cards I need for an affinity deck. So I signed up Sunday night so that I could get some Mirrodin packs while they where still selling for around 5 tix. I got five packs and two tix, and sold them all for a grand total of 25 tix. I bought most of my deck for a few tix, and most of the rest for about 10 or so more. I then also got a crappy Zombie deck. I know have 5 tix, and am planning on playing a tournament with them sometime soon.

So that is one of the main reasons that I havn't been posting. Another is, I got Diablo II Tuesday night. It is a pretty interesting game. The graphics are by far not the best I have seen, but it makes up for it in gameplay. More to come from this soon.

Pretty much it comes down to I have been buesy on Magic Online. I am starting a webpage for my clan on Magic Online, called Team Fat. It will also be for my accual team, Team Fat. You can find it here. The only requirement for the clan is that you are a serious type 2 player. We are currently looking for more memders.

That is about it for now. Mainly I am playing Magic Online, and my name on there is Grapes17. So until later,

Post of the Day

I got top 4 at the Parkland mox tournament. I played Long.dec. It was pretty fun. My only lose for the day was against janky control. I lost game one, won game two, then they got a god draw game three. The tournament proved to me that the cards that got restricted, in the December restrictions, really needed to be restricted. As long as you know how to play you deck there is no real strategy, just luck of the draw. I don't like this. But now, after the restrictions, Dragon will own almost all. It has decently consistent turn two wins, and wasn't hurt at all by the restrictions. Something needs to be done. I also found that if you do not own power, it is impossible for you to play type one. Just a fact, there are too many faster decks out there. It is nuts, and there is not a lot that Wizards can do about it. Wizards can stop turn one wins, but turn two wins are still consistent. Without printing more type one hate cards, or drastic restrictions, the format will be no more than: roll a die, take a 30 minute turn, win. I guess the only thing you can do is buy power. It will continue to rise in price until magic ends, because the more that are bought, the less there are. Buy it now, in a year it will most likely increase in value by 20%.

I guess I don't have a lot more to post. I didn't really do much Thursday or Friday. So until later,

Post of the Day

Well not a lot has been happening. It appears that I will be able to play a fully powered deck this Saturday. I will not say what it is for just now, I'm trying to hide my obvious tech. Saturday should be fun. I will be doing some testing tomorrow at the Dragon's Table. If you want to test with me, you are welcome to join.

I will be driving again tomorrow at school. It should be fun. I guess so far this week hasn't been anything to out of the ordinary. I did receive I slightly rude letter from starcity. I don't want to go on for ever about how I think this letter is a lot meaner than it seems, but here it is anyways:

James,
Thank you for your submission to Star City. I must regretfully decline the article though, as we have recently begun trying to increase the quality of content on the site, and the article you submitted does not meet these new standards. The writing itself is decent, but we really are not able to publish yet another Affinity tournament report at this time and expect it to get read. Thank you again for your submission though.
Best of Luck,

Well enjoy for now, I will post again after tomorrow maybe. So until then,

Post of the Day

Today has been pretty interesting. The tournament this Saturday has been change from the pizza fest to a mox tournament at Parkland. How odd. Well this weekend there will be a 5 proxie type one mox tournament at Parkland. I have also driven on the freeway for the first time today. It was a little scary at first, but then it was a lot easier than driving through town.

Tomorrow I will be playing DnD tomorrow. Tim will be ther, and Jimmy might also come. I am making a new Elf Warrior. It shall be fun.

So I need a lot of testing for this type one tournament. I am undecided if I will play another version of my Fried Eggs deck, or make another Control deck. Or even I could go aggro with my Crap Rock deck. Choices....

Well I thought that there was a lot more. Oh well I guess I will post again tomorrow. So until later,
